Leaving on a jet plane...

I am itching to travel again. It's been some time since our last weekend trip [my best half will shake his head when he reads this ;-)].
As I did some couch traveling today, I stumbled upon this amazing boutique hotel in Sri Lanka! And, we have been planning to go to Srilanka for some time now! And this place also looks fabulous! Is this divine intervention or what!?

While I plan my vacation and convince Mr. Shaking Head, enjoy these images from Taru Villas

Above images have inspired some good style ideas for my home. If not a vacation at Taru Villas any time soon, I can at least create similar ambience at my home!
P.S.- You could have bet that this styling and decor was from India. Or from Thailand. Or from Singapore. Or from any other South East Asian country :-)

Bhavna the images of this hotel are gorgeous! My best friend is SriLankian and she always talks about how beautiful the beaches are, few know but it's one of the most beautiful vacation spots in the world! We plan to go one day ourselves and now your post just made me want to go even more!!!

Great images!

Been silently enjoying your blog for the past week. Just like you I have an interest in home deco/styling and everything beautiful to make our lives pleasant and especially - on anything with an Indian touch. You have a great blog and I am not going to stop dropping by. I love all the pictures you have featured here.

Yes Jenn, Sri Lankan beaches are really beautiful - would urge you to make that trip happen soon!

Hello Pachchai,...well, I am sure I will have a good time at Taru Villas, once I convince Pranav (remember Mr. Shaking Head?) :)
