Just a hint...

...of the Orient

in these rooms

from Octopus

Inspiration from South East Asia, Morocco and Scandinavian design

Diwan [daybed] with bolsters

Indonesian cabinet and gorgeous embroidered throw with marble table decor

Love this room! The color of pillows against the green wall, brass lamp shades and the smocked blanket

Ikat! Are those rugs or fabric?

Your personal chattri (umbrella)!

Rattan chairs with antique look wooden pillar table

Isn't the color of the parapet lovely? Looks like the floor covering is a jute chattai (rug)

Another use of paraat (plate)!

Rattan recliner in orange!

Adore the chair color!

Just a hint....works too!

The Moroccon lamp in the first pic looks lovely. And I love the way... purple & green blend together. Very pretty!! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for sharing. I am actually thinking about painting my bedroom green at the moment, but can´t deside which green - maybe this is the way to go...

I loved the colored chairs with those beautiful flowers in view. Looks like I'm in Disney Land - a fairy tale environment.

Lovely photos. Something about cane furniture gives a room a really relaxed atmosphere... and rugs are fabric too- just with a thicker, twisted yarn. So it is ikat, but on a rug!

Are these photos you've taken? I'm really inspired by some of these to make some quilted wallhangings based on the photos...Thanks.
